ClearScript is a division of Fairview Health Services, a non-profit health system including eight hospitals, dozens of clinics and the University of Minnesota Medical Center.

ClearScript was created by Fairview to eliminate the excessive middleman costs of its previous PBM vendor. As a health system with wide-ranging expertise in pharmacy, Fairview was in a unique position to create a PBM grounded in its ethical business model, clinical expertise, and values of dignity, integrity, service and compassion.

In its first year using ClearScript, Fairview saved $2.6 million. Confident that other companies could benefit from its lower-cost business model and commitment to patient care, ClearScript brought its PBM and care services to the marketplace and now has thousands of self-funded employer groups under its administration.
